Murray McLachlan's Marathon

During December Murray McLachlan, pianist extraordinaire, was invited into the BBC Studio to present a new online radio show and talk at length about recording and discovering Erik Chisholm piano’s music.
The result, a 2-hour marathon played constantly in a loop on BBC Radio Scotland Zones - The Arts, Classical and Jazz Zone for one week beginning 5th December 2008. Many excerpts from Volumes 1 to 4 Music for Piano, only just re-issued on the Divine Art label, were heard. The producer kindly gave the ECT a copy of the 2 hour programme which can be borrowed on request by e-mail. This is a new innovation for BBC Radio; thank you Murray, thank you BBC Radio Scotland.
