Trust became a registered charity, No 1087165 July 2001.
The following is a summary of ECT achievements since it was set up in 2001, placed in alphabetical order:
Boydell and Brewer published John Purser’s biography in June 2009. It has been well reviewed & as reported in Living Scotsman. Chisholm’s contribution has been crying out for this reassessment - that it is readable as this is a real bonus. The ECT has copies to give away to educational establishments. Please get in touch with Morag Chisholm if you would want to take advantage of this offer.
To date the Trust has promoted 15 Chisholm CD's including three released before 2001.
The exceptional Music for Piano series with the excellent Murray McLachlan, was initiated by Jim Patterson of Dunelm Records. Stephen Sutton founder of Divine Art later took over the project & successfully re-released Vol.1-4; and Volumes 5 - 7, ending the series. Two orchestral works Chisholm’s 2nd Symphony and Pictures from Dante were recorded under the Dutton label with conductor, Martin Yates.
A new Trust venture, ECT Records, released The Forsaken Mermaid and the Hoodie Craw, a 2 piano Ballet CD in 2010 to commemorate the Margaret Morris Centenary.
Hyperion CD of Chisholm's Piano Concertos No.1 & 2 has had outstanding reviews and has twice broken through the BBC Radio 3 sound barrier since its release in March 2012. See recordings for full details.

This major project begun 10 years ago continues apace, undoubtedly the Trust's most costly undertaking to date. The Trust is fortunate to have had the commitment and skills of Typesetter Alan Stephenson and proof reader, trustee Michael Jones to take this forward.
Almost all the piano works are published and a significant body of vocal, chamber, string and orchestral works is now available. A start has been made on the 12 operas with the one act opera, Simoon leading the way.
Scores can be ordered online from the SMC Online shop – and by email from the Erik Chisholm Trust at firstname.lastname@example.org
A Catalogue Raisonné, an essential companion project, researched and produced by Michael Tuffin at the University of Cape Town will be released on a designated website and on CDRom in 2014.
